Kyle Meacham is the owner/operator of Meacham Farms along with his mother Karen. He is a fourth-generation farmer working to preserve the land and pass along a legacy to his children just like his dad did for him.

Farm Philosophy

Meacham Farms continues to grow and adapt the farming operation by researching new innovative ways. Our goal is to improve our production in agriculture through seed varieties, seeding methods, tillage techniques and best management practices. We participate in training programs and interact with other producers and agribusinesses.

Technology

We use GPS technology to optimize our productivity and hopefully discover weaknesses.

• • John Deere Greenstar, as well as Case Pro700 units are used, depending on the machine platform.

  • Greenstar displays are used to collect crop yield as well as auto-steer capabilities on most slopes when harvesting.

Our grain cart is equipped with onboard scales to help truck drivers to ensure a legal load every trip.

We use multiple product variable rate maps when seeding all crops requiring fertilizer utilizing two different fertilizer types as well as seed.

The farm is based out of Nezperce, Idaho but farms ground above Orofino and around the Craigmont area.
